How does it work?
The Remedial Herstory Project is seeking diverse women's history that we have yet to cover on the podcast. If your proposal meets our criteria we will email you.
If selected we will then ask you to record a 15 minute lecture about the topic using any equipment you have (if you have none, we will send some to you). Feel free to stumble, pause, and recover, our editors will fix it. Your audience for the lecture are K-12 teachers who may generally know about the era, but not about your topic.
Once we have your lecture, we will prepare interview questions and set up a time over Zoom to do the interview. The interview will last for 10 minutes and give you an opportunity to plug any work you are doing on behalf of the humanities.
When aired, the episode will be in 3 parts:
1. An introduction to the episode by the hosts.
2. Your lecture.
3. Your interview.
All work is subject to be edited by our editors.
