Fausta, the wife of Constantine, died in suspicious circumstances: in a bath. Why? How? Was it an abortion gone wrong? Did Constantine murder her? Was this a formal execution? Why aren't their sources? In this inquiry, students will fill in the gaps of history using available sources and evidence. This download includes a modified version of the lesson plan designed for middle school learners. Modification of the lesson plan was fulfilled by practicing middle school teachers.
