Statement on Academic Integrity
The Remedial Herstory Project is dedicated to providing the highest quality resources and programs for students, teachers, and parents. Our materials are created and reviewed by experienced teachers and scholars with expertise in their fields. The Project's resources encourage young people to engage in thoughtful inquiry of primary source documents related to the experiences of women throughout history. All Project resources are guided by principles of historical women's narratives—not by the priorities of any external organization.
Resource Review Process
The Project's publications follow a rigorous, multi-layered peer-review process. All of our publications undergo in-depth review by both scholars and classroom educators. The scholars help ensure that we maintain the highest levels of academic rigor and accuracy, while the teachers help ensure that our material meets the needs of dedicated professionals. We provide our educator partners with early access to our draft materials, inviting their feedback both formally through our pilot testing process and informally by inviting them to be co-creators on Project materials. We strive to provide resources that are engaging, reliable, useful, and of high quality. This requirement is upheld without influence or input by financial supporters. We do not accept funding tied to predetermined outcomes or non-educational agendas.
Constructive Feedback
We appreciate valuable input and suggestions from our community members. If you have constructive feedback to share, kindly send us a note. Please be aware that while we may not be able to personally respond to each submission, rest assured that every feedback received will be carefully considered. We thank you for your interest in our resources and materials.
