About

Step into the untold stories of history with "Women in Ancient War," a self-paced program designed to illuminate the critical yet often overlooked roles women played in warfare across ancient civilizations. This course invites educators, students, and history enthusiasts to challenge traditional narratives and discover the resilience, leadership, and ingenuity of women on and off the battlefield. Through inquiry-based learning, participants will explore primary sources, archaeological findings, and scholarly interpretations that reveal how women influenced military strategies, served as warriors, strategists, and supporters, and shaped the outcomes of pivotal conflicts from Egypt to Rome, Greece to China.
