Teaching "Were white suffragists racist?"

Hey! I am new here. I first heard of Herstory at NCSS in Washington, D.C. this past December. Thanks so much for the great lesson plans centered in primary sources.

For our Women's Suffrage Unit, I began with Margaret Brent, especially because I teach in Maryland. But I was more equipped after listening to the Herstory podcast about Brent. Last week we examined Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. But I am excited to share the Were white suffragists racist? with students this week to expand and teach the fullness of history. I really appreciate lesson plans that include women of all identities. Thank you!
