In this inquiry, students explore primary and secondary material about women inside Medieval convents to determine if these were oppressive institutions, or freeing from the patriarchal burdens. This download includes a modified version of the lesson plan designed for middle school learners. Modification of the lesson plan was fulfilled by practicing middle school teachers.
