In this inquiry, students will explore documents from the revolutionary period by and about women. Students should be familiar generally with the beginning of the revolution, its causes, etc. Students will reflect on the significance of these documents and their impact on French women’s lives. Then students will consider whether the revolution was revolutionary for women.
