In this inquiry, students will analyze extracts and sources on women in the Hindu epics. Sources will derive from English translations of key Hindu epics including the Mahabharata and Ramayana as well as depictions and later reinterpretations of these epics. Included with this item is: the lesson plan, a modified version of said lesson plan at the middle school level, a lesson specific powerpoint, as well as two teacher resources which help answer each lesson plan.
