In this inquiry, students will analyze numerous graphs and articles and evaluate how female politicians have improved the conditions for women in their constituencies. Examples of sources used within this lesson are statistics from the Center for American Women and Politics and articles from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research. Included with this item is: the lesson plan, a modified version of said lesson plan at the middle school level, a lesson specific powerpoint, as well as two teacher resources which help answer each lesson plan.
