In this inquiry, students will read primary materials while paying particular attention to the difference between opinions and actions regarding women's involvement in labor movements. Students will analyze and evaluate material from the 1920s-1930s and determine how unions blocked women’s involvement and interests. Included with this item is: the lesson plan, a modified version of said lesson plan at the middle school level, a lesson specific powerpoint, as well as two teacher resources which help answer each lesson plan.
